This concert will feature "The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace” by Sir Karl Jenkins.
This unique concert brings together choral and physical art to explore the deep impact of war and our collective hope for peace. DGCS is partnering with the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild to present Sir Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, ranked #2 in the 2025 Classic FM Hall of Fame. Each movement will be paired with a newly commissioned work of art, which will be projected during the concert and available for viewing and purchase afterward. We will also proudly present the debut performance of the Society's Chamber Choir. Don’t miss it!

The concert itself will start at 4PM. Please join us at 3:15PM for a pre-concert talk to learn more about the composer and the music.
